Right from the first laps it was clear Sainio was the driver to watch in X30 Master.
Second in qualifying, in pre-final he crossed the line in second position before a 10-seconds penalty for an incorrect position at the start pushed him down the order to 8th.
Sainio struck trouble on the opening lap of the final and went to the back of the field.
He put in a superb fightback to make his way back into the top of the field and ended up dominating Sunday’s final in the X30 Master class, setting the fastest laptime and crossing the line in 5th, before a second penalty pushed him down the order to 6th.
