The weather with ever-changing conditions played a very significant role in the results.
Nielsen (X30 Junior) was really very unlucky in qualifying, being in the first group with wet tyres while the remaining 3 groups were on slick.
He managed to qualify for the Super Heat starting P30 and climbed back into P19 but not enough for the final.
Kataja (X30 Master) always had a good speed and qualified for the Super Heat starting P13.
His hopes to enter the final were nearly vanished due to a race incident followed by a 10 second penalty but the final intermediate classification saw him starting the final in P30.
The final race was fantastic, he was very fast and ended up in P12, the only driver in the race climbing up 18 positions.
