STEP 1)
Position and secure the " lower seat mounting tool 225.0015 " to the frame.
STEP 2)
Place the seat inside the chassis seat brackets, making sure the flat bottom part of the seat is positioned on the lower seat mounting tool.
STEP 3)
Fix the " upper seat mounting tool 225.0020 " between the rear axle and the seat edge and adjust it to the correct measure, as shown in the seat position diagram and chart.
STEP 4)
Move the seat backward or forward till it is positioned according to the measure shown in the "Seat position chart"
STEP 5)
After the seat has been positioned in the correct way, check the alignment of the side chassis brackets to the seat.
In case they are not, move them with the specific bending tool 225.0025 "
STEP 6)
If the side chassis seat brackets are too open or too close compared to the chosen seat size, slightly bend the left side bracket using either a tube or a heavy nylon hammer 028.0050 till you reach the requested measure.
STEP 7)
After the seat alignment has been done, if neccessary, fit under the front of the seat the specific seat spacer 028.0050
in such a way that the seat surface is firmly touching the welded tabs.
STEP 8)
When all above operations have been done, you can start drilling the seat and secure it with the seat bolt.
After having secured the bolt, check if the seat is in the correct position and it is not stressed or forced in order to tighten up the seat fixing bolts as a highly stressed misaligned seat can have a negative effect on kart performance.
STEP 9)
You can now start the drilling of the upper holes and fit the seat bolts.
